back to school

I was without internet for quite some time, so I haven't posted in a while, but I haven't forgotten about my blog! So until I have time to go out on more adventures and document them on here, I've decided to make a quite post about back to school/ autumn essentials ^.^ I've just started school again earlier this week and the weather has been quite cold lately so I feel this post is relevant anyhow.

My favorite fall color is by far this wine/oxblood red. I think it's beautiful and I look forward to incorporating alot of this color into my wardrobe. You can find all these items HERE

Knitts are one of my favorite things about autumn/winter. Constantly being cozy, while the air is cold and you crunch leaves as you walk, drinking your hot chocolate. There's nothing like it. I'm not sure there these specific items are from, but I have found very similar items on ebay ^.^

Last but not least, what I consider "must-haves" right now are certainly a cute pinafore dress (I'm obsessed); a satchel, convinient for school and adventures, and of course a nice pair a brogues to last the season and those that follow ^.^

precious moments

This is the kind of post I will probably be making at least once a month; just some quick shots from days that hold special memories for me; whether it's walking around the neighborhood, staying in and watching the rain, every day has magic in it and I want to do my best to capture these memories.

back bows

This week has been filled with loss and hardships and honestly I figured I should blog to distract myself and so here is a post. I've been taking walks around the neighborhood which is lovely because every street is stacked with old houses and lovely gardens. I recently purchased this dress, which honestly I only bought because 1) it was on sale 2) the back is so cute. But now that I've worn it, I'm definitely smitten. The material is quite dainty which I like, and it will be easy to layer up when autumn comes ^.^

stratford gardens

  

A couple of weeks ago, Gavin and I took a trip. We'd been planning it for a while and so when the time came to go, I was beyond excited. We took the train from toronto to Stratford (it had been about 4 years since I was last there) and went to see "The three musketeers"  which was also wonderful. Despite  all the planning, I ended up keeping my camera in the hotel room when we did our exploring, which I immediately regretted; There was so much beauty everywhere, and so I could only capture a couple of shots with my iphone; which is better than nothing I suppose. Anyway, we definitely want to make it an annual thing, and I'm already excited to go back!

cool and comfortable

These past couple of days have been fantastic for relaxing and spending time with family and close friends. I spent a good day taking nature walks and capturing some great nature shots with my camera. When I am venturing out into the woods or a more natural area, I tend to keep my pretty dresses in the closet and trade them in for something that won't get so easily caught in branches and become torn. I'm actually very fond of these denim/crochet shorts and light sweater; I plan on wearing them alot in the fall.
