classic plaid

The temperature is dropping drastically and I'm certain it won't take long for snow to make its appearance. Autumn seems to be flying by, but I am enjoying every minute of it, especially the sweaters and scarfs and crisp walks outside holding a hot drink in your hand. I recently purchased this dress from Urban Outfitters; I've been looking for a plaid dress/skirt, and this one is perfect, especially since it has a collar. I plan on wearing it alot during the holidays ^.^

I'm going to begin this post by saying how absolutely gorgeous it's been this week. It's as though summer came back for one last hurrah before fall completely took over. Lucky for me, my chicwish order had come in just in time to wear these pretty dresses while the weather permits. I am absolutely in love with this dress, it's so dainty and pretty and fits like a dream. I definitely plan on picking up as much pretty pieces from the shop as I can ^.^ Anyway, it's thanksgiving weekend here in Canada, and the weekend is going to be lovely; I hope yours will be as well!

Well, I haven't updated in a while, as I have been having some issues with my camera; but all is well again and so I will be back regularly very soon. It's a little obvious that these photos weren't meant for a blog post. These were taken weeks ago when my niece came to visit and I was playing with her in the field; and my boyfriend snapped a few shots of me without my knowing at the time. I figured since I've been absent I could upload a few and use it as a style post. 

All summer I've been lusting after cut-out dresses and now I finally have one of my own! Even though it is a floral pattern I think the color makes it so that I could use it as a fall dress as well. Oxblood is definitely my go-to color for fall, and I was so happy to have come across this dress :)
