Peaceful Autumn Mornings

My new morning routine now involves walking my new puppy; our favorite place to go is this field a few blocks from my house. All of these photos were taken in the field. It was such a beautiful morning, sunny and misty and the plants and spider webs were all frosted (as you can see in the photos). These photos are just proof of how beautiful autumn is ^.^

Autumn Chills

These days have been filled with more obstacles than fun times, but I am determined to make this autumn my best yet! We are halfway through the week and the weather has been beautiful: sunny but still a touch of an autumn chill. I've been obsessed with these pins and needles pieces since I got them. The skirt reminds me of an old tapestry and the shirt is so dainty and lovely. Even though they are different floral patterns they still work well together and have been perfect for the weather we've been having lately ^.^

Well the cold has officially arrived, and I couldn't be happier, because that means sweater weather ^.^ This cardigan happens to be one of my favorites, mainly because I love the color, but also because of its length (it's suitable to wear with dresses). I've been really busy with school and work and haven't had much time to do anything else; but I am still determined to have many autumn adventures to take advantage of my favorite season!

pinafore love

 It's no secret that I love pinafores, and while I've had this one for a while, I've only recently started wearing it often because of how thick it is. Autumn is fast approaching so now is the perfect time to wear it ^.^ It's denim and has a subtle pin stripe in it, which I love. I also love how easy it is to layer; especially as the days begin to grow colder.

back to school

I was without internet for quite some time, so I haven't posted in a while, but I haven't forgotten about my blog! So until I have time to go out on more adventures and document them on here, I've decided to make a quite post about back to school/ autumn essentials ^.^ I've just started school again earlier this week and the weather has been quite cold lately so I feel this post is relevant anyhow.

My favorite fall color is by far this wine/oxblood red. I think it's beautiful and I look forward to incorporating alot of this color into my wardrobe. You can find all these items HERE

Knitts are one of my favorite things about autumn/winter. Constantly being cozy, while the air is cold and you crunch leaves as you walk, drinking your hot chocolate. There's nothing like it. I'm not sure there these specific items are from, but I have found very similar items on ebay ^.^

Last but not least, what I consider "must-haves" right now are certainly a cute pinafore dress (I'm obsessed); a satchel, convinient for school and adventures, and of course a nice pair a brogues to last the season and those that follow ^.^
