A new light

I know I've been out of the blogging game for quite a while, mostly because any extra energy I had went to personal writing and I just wasn't motivated to write for an audience. But now, as you can probably tell from his photo, our family has some pretty exciting news to share: Gavin and I are expecting our second child in May <3 Our sweet Forest is going to be a big brother, and that's definitely something worth documenting! I've thankfully entered the second trimester and seem to be finished with morning/afternoon/nighttime (let's be real) sickness, and now that the beautiful process of the growth of a new being externally visible, it's more exciting than ever! Especially because I know the intense love the end result brings<3
