We've been appreciating the simplicity of quiet life lately, and it's been wonderfully refreshing. I've been thinking alot about how our culture glorifies being "busy" and how I see so many people caught up in schedules, in routine, in plans, it leaves so little room to just be. You know, that feeling of peace that sinks into your bones to calm and soothe. Not to be making lists or thinking on what needs to be done, just being. Sometimes it's too easy to forget what this is like, which is why Forest and I take at least one hour every day to sit outside and listen to the birds and the wind. It's become my favourite time of day <3
