Lately

I can't believe it's been a month since I last posted, which means Forest is already almost 8 months old! I've stopped posting monthly updates here when I decieded to take a step back from bogging (though I still document on my own at home). He crawls and climbs up onto and into furniture, repeats words and associates them with certain things (says "dad" for Gavin's attention, "mum" when he wants to be picked up and repeats nana. He learns new things and pushes himself every day and it's amazing to watch! We've been focusing on alot of new and fun things like painting and yoga and now that the weather has gotten dirastically warm, daily walks again! I can't wait for the snow to leave so that I can play with Forest in the grass and in the woods, and go swimming! This summer will be magical <3

YOYOMELODY BAG

It's been a while since I used a purse; recently I've started bringing it to hold my wallet so that I'd stop losing it in Forest's diaper bag. This one from yoyomelody is my favourite at the moment, it holds simplistic detail (lovely fringe and wooden bead!) and an eye-catching rust color. There are other colors you can also view here or Just shop on their regular site here to see all the other cute items they have!

Blue Eyes and White Skies

Winter is most definitely the most difficult season for me...the whole concept of spending more time indoors, not feeling the sun on my skin or even hearing the pitter patter of rain from time to time is hard on my spirit. But on mild days, we make sure to bundle up and start exploring this white world completely new to Forest's fresh eyes. It's still not the same, and most days the vast white world feels heavy on my shoulders, but experiencing anything in the world with this precious boy is the very best, and these days never go unapreciated.
